Suite Matic AI provides a 14-day cooling-off period for our video editing and content repurposing services. You may request a refund for your purchase (up to a maximum of $500) within 14 calendar days of the order date. To cancel, you must notify us before the 14-day period ends. For example, under UK/EU consumer law the withdrawal period for service contracts is 14 days from the contract date, and Brazilian law grants a 7-day right of withdrawal for online contracts. Suite Matic AI honors a 14-day period (exceeding the 7 days required in Brazil) as a matter of policy. If you cancel within this period and no work has yet begun, we will refund your payment promptly (up to the lesser of $500 or the amount paid) via your original payment method. The refund request should be made by email or written notice to Suite Matic AI within the 14-day window. (Note that if you prepaid more than $500, the maximum refundable amount is $500.)

Service Commencement and No Refunds Once Work Begins

Once you have submitted your content and we have begun work on your project, the contract is considered performed and no refund is available. In accordance with UK/EU law, the moment performance of the service starts at your request, you lose the right of cancellation. In practical terms, this means that if you upload your materials and editing work commences (for example, we start cutting or reformatting the video), we have already provided our service. From that point onward we cannot unwind the transaction. If you do nonetheless request cancellation after work has started, we will retain payment for all work completed up to the cancellation (as allowed by law). Because our policy is to treat any refund in this scenario as $0, effectively you forfeit any refund once service begins.

  • No Refund After Service Starts. Once editing or repurposing has started on your content (i.e. any part of the service is performed), you will not receive a refund. This aligns with consumer-contract regulations: for digital services, once delivery or performance has begun on the consumer’s request and with their acknowledgement, the cancellation right ends.

  • Partial Service Charges. If you do cancel after work has begun, we reserve the right to charge for the service already performed. In UK guidance, the seller may “keep what’s necessary to cover the costs of services provided” up to the cancellation. In our case, because we require advance payment, we consider the earned portion non-refundable once begun.

Waiver of Cancellation Rights for Early Service

If you expressly request Suite Matic AI to start the service during the 14-day period, you must consent to begin work immediately and thereby waive your right to cancel for that work. In other words, if you ask us to proceed before the cooling-off period ends, we will obtain your explicit confirmation (in writing or electronic form) that you understand you forfeit any refund once the service starts. This “waiver” is a legally valid exception under consumer law (e.g. EU Consumer Rights Directive Article 16(m)), allowing the service to begin early only with your informed consent.

  • Explicit Consent Required. Before starting any work at your request within the 14-day window, we will provide clear notice that you will lose your cancellation right. You must acknowledge and agree to this. UK regulatory guidance specifically requires that if you request performance of the service during the cancellation period, your consent (on a durable medium) must be secured, along with advice that any later cancellation would require paying for services delivered up to that point.

  • Effect of the Waiver. Once you have signed or agreed to begin service early, the law says you have “expressly chosen to begin the performance of the contract” and thus you “lose [your] right of withdrawal”. In simple terms, we treat your decision to proceed as binding. If you then change your mind after work has started, we will not issue a refund (except as described above for work completed).

No Refunds After 14 Days

After the 14-day period from purchase has elapsed, all sales are final. Suite Matic AI does not provide refunds for any reason once 14 days have passed. This firm deadline is in line with consumer laws (which provide no standard cancellation right beyond the statutory period). We emphasize that this means no refunds will be given after 14 days “regardless of reason.”

  • Final Sale. Once the cooling-off period expires, any payment is final and non-refundable. (This is subject only to your legal rights in extreme cases, e.g. if the delivered service were defective. See next section.)

Statutory Rights and Governing Law

This policy is intended to comply with applicable UK, EU and Brazilian consumer-protection laws. For example, under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (implemented in UK law) you have a 14‑day withdrawal right for distance services. Under Brazil’s Consumer Defense Code (CDC), Article 49 grants a 7‑day “right of regret” for online contracts. Suite Matic AI goes beyond these minimums by offering a 14‑day period to all customers, and specifically instructing that this policy is without prejudice to any legal rights you may have.

Nothing in this policy is intended to limit rights that cannot be waived by law. If local law grants you additional remedies (for example, if a delivered service is defective or was misrepresented), you may have rights outside this policy. This policy simply defines our standard refund practices.

  • Consumer Laws. This policy is governed by and seeks to meet the requirements of the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (and its successor UK/EU consumer laws) as well as Brazilian law (CDC). For instance, UK guidance clarifies that if a consumer downloads digital content after waiving withdrawal rights, the right to cancel is lost, which we have adapted here. Likewise, Brazilian law provides a full refund within seven days; Suite Matic AI honors this by extending it to 14 days.

  • Limitations. Except as explicitly stated above, Suite Matic AI does not provide refunds beyond these terms. We have capped the refund at $500 per order; any excess payment is considered non-refundable.

Acknowledgment and Acceptance of Terms

By using Suite Matic AI’s services, you acknowledge and agree to this Refund Policy in full. Your use of our platform and submission of content signifies that you have read, understood, and accepted these terms. If you do not agree with this policy, you should not use the service or submit any content.

Your continued use of Suite Matic AI after any changes to this policy will constitute acceptance of those changes. You agree that any disputes will be governed by the relevant consumer-protection laws of the United Kingdom, the European Union, and Brazil, as applicable.
